Art and the Academic Mind

Some might wonder, “How does an art studio go with a Tutoring Center?” Why BurstTutors and Miss Pachi’s Atelie? My appeal to the history of great thinkers is simple—Leonardo DaVinci and Albert Einstein. It is very evident that both these heroes of thought and creativity are examples of the exercise of the two sides of the brain. I could even suggest the ancient gymnasium where Greeks exercised body and mind, connecting the right and left brains millennia before research on these connections.

Parents, if you are looking to maximize your child’s human potential, we suggest taking advantage of both programs offered under the Burst brand. They are not unrelated visions of Miss Pachi and me. They are a thoughtful integration of multiple disciplines that lead to brain activity and purposeful movement that are proven to connect brain regions for more effective creative thinking.

Just consider the future of new enterprises. Nearly all require the creative application of technical, visual, and linguistic integration. The young person who is able to think across disciplines with fluid access to both left and right brain strengths will be better suited to lead in this fast-paced and highly integrated environment.

The future will need new Leonardos and Alberts. How about your child? How are you cultivating creative intellect? Keep following Burst Blogs for ways to develop cross hemispheric integration.
