My daughter is 4 years old and working with Troy to establish some study habits. I have seen a lot of improvement with my daughter within the last 4 weeks and we have been going twice a week only. My daughter tried Kumon and it did not work for her. Kumon made my daughter really tired at the end of the day to the point that she does not want to work on their homework. The difference is Troy gives attention to his students depending on what they need versus with Kumon, they have a standard that the students have to meet. For little kids i believe it is more important to have a tutor that will help them excel on their strength and work on their weaknesses. My daughter is always exited when we are going to Troy that shows me that she is enjoying while learning. As a parent, this means a lot to me and I 100 percent recommend Troy. He is very good and very patient working with little kids.
